About Anji Ari
She came to the Well thirsty — and never left the same.
Christian author, faith-based writer, Certified Purpose Life Coach, and founder of The Well Encounter — Intimate Conversations with God.
Her Story

Anji Ari is a Christian author, faith-based writer, Certified Purpose Life Coach (ACSTH), and founder of The Well Encounter – Intimate Conversations with God. With more than 35 years of journaling, Anji has discovered that some of life's most meaningful moments with God are found in the quiet act of putting pen to paper.
Her passion is helping others deepen their relationship with Christ through prayer, Scripture, journaling, and authentic faith. Through her blog, journals, and inspirational resources, she encourages readers to slow down, listen for God's voice, and embrace the hope, healing, and purpose found in His Word.
As the creator of The Well Encounter Journal Collection, available on Barnes & Noble, Anji designs journals that inspire believers to record prayers, reflect on God's faithfulness, study Scripture, and cultivate daily intimate conversations with Him. Her work is rooted in the belief that every page can become a place where lives are transformed by God's presence.
When she isn't writing, Anji enjoys studying the Bible, journaling, spending time near the ocean, and encouraging women to heal, grow spiritually, and discover God's purpose for their lives.
"But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
John 4:14
The Heart Behind the Ministry
The Well Encounter was born from a simple, burning conviction: that every woman deserves to know she is seen, known, and deeply loved by God — not from a distance, but up close. Anji created this community to be a sanctuary where that kind of intimacy is not just possible, but expected.
Intimacy over information
Every gathering, every teaching, every conversation is designed to draw you closer to God — not just to know more about Him.
Vulnerability as strength
Anji believes the bravest thing a woman can do is bring her whole, unedited self to God and let Him meet her there.
Scripture as living water
The Word of God is not a rulebook but a love letter — Anji teaches it as something to be tasted, not just studied.
Come and encounter Him.
If you are thirsty — for more of God, for deeper prayer, for a community that takes intimacy with Him seriously — there is a place for you at the Well.
